About Us
Holly Ridge Quality Childcare & Preschool is proudly owned and operated by the Murphy and Pope families who have served the community with Sneads Ferry Quality Childcare & Preschool and Sneads Ferry Quality Childcare & Preschool II in Sneads Ferry, NC since 2018.
Children who go to Holly Ridge Quality Childcare & Preschool get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.

Half-Day 3s Preschool
9:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday - Friday $120/week*
Children enrolled in our three-year-old half-day preschool program benefit from our complete unique academic schedule, using Conscious Discipline, The Creative Curriculum and NC Foundations, morning snack, time to enjoy the outdoor learning environment, in addition to a socially engaging lunch experience.
This program takes place from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday. The three-year-old preschool program follows the Onslow County Public School calendar.
Children are nurtured and educated through meaningful play experiences built upon the understanding of what their needs are academically, socially, and emotionally using our developmentally appropriate assessments and observational data throughout the preschool year.
Students in our three-year-old preschool program learn to become patient, problem solvers, and good citizens in order to best prepare for their final preschool experience as a four or five year old.
The half-day three-year-old preschool experience includes full implementation of our preschool curriculum, morning snack, lunch, and time outdoors.
To meet licensing requirements, children must be completely potty-trained before enrolling in any of our programs.
Half-Day 4-5s Preschool
9:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday - Friday $120/week*
Children enrolled in our four-year-old half-day preschool program benefit from our complete unique academic schedule, using Conscious Discipline, The Creative Curriculum and NC Foundations, morning snack, time to engage in our outdoor learning spaces, in addition to a socially engaging lunch experience.
This program takes place from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday. The four-year-old preschool program follows the Onslow County Public School calendar.
Children are nurtured and educated through meaningful play experiences built upon the understanding of where they are developmentally using our individualized observational and kindergarten readiness assessments throughout the school year.
The half-day four-year-old preschool experience includes full implementation of our kindergarten preparatory curriculum, morning snack, lunch, and time outdoors.
To meet licensing requirements, children must be completely potty-trained before enrolling in any of our programs.
Before and After School Care
Transportation to Coastal and Dixon Elementary Schools with County Closings Care $145/week*
Before and after school care are offered each school day for Dixon and Coastal Elementary School students. Drop off, eat breakfast, and get a ride to school! After school, students are picked up, brought to HRQCC, eat snack, complete homework, and socialize in meaningful activities with friends.
Students enrolled in our before and after school programs benefit from full-time care (6:30 am - 6:00 pm) when Onslow County Public Schools are closed or instances of early dismissal.
Our Before/After School students are automatically enrolled in our Summer Program and can enjoy a full-time summer camp which includes weekly field trips, water days, and a STREAM-centered program.
Full-Day Preschool Program

Preschool 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
Aftercare 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm,
Monday - Friday $165/week*
Children enrolled in our 3s and 4/5s full-day preschool program benefit from our complete unique academic schedule, using Conscious Discipline, The Creative Curriculum and NC Foundations, morning snack, time to enjoy the outdoor learning environment, in addition to a socially engaging lunch experience.
In addition, these students are able to use our full-time care that takes place before and after our scheduled preschool program. The preschool program provides care during Onslow County Public School closings, early release, and Teacher Workdays.
Children are nurtured and educated through meaningful play experiences built upon the understanding of what their needs are academically, socially, and emotionally using our developmentally appropriate assessments and observational data throughout the preschool year.
Full-time preschoolers enjoy breakfast offerings and snack provided by HRQCC. Students are required to bring their own CACFP packed lunches.
Students in our preschool program learn to become patient, problem solvers, and good citizens in order to best prepare for kindergarten.
